The authoritative check list for New Mexico Vascular Plants is Kelly Allred's "A Working Index of New Mexico Vascular Plant Names." NMBCC is currently working to make this into a searchable database format.
The Rare Plant Technical Council maintains species accounts and other information for New Mexico Rare Plants .
Invertebrates
There currently is no comprehensive, authoritative checklist of New Mexico invertebrates. NMBCC is currently working to create the first state list based on the vouchered specimens in our system.
